Eric Orr X Keith Haring | Repeat

In the vibrant underground of New York City's 1980s art scene, Eric Orr and Keith Haring first crossed paths at The Roxy roller rink, sparking a dynamic collaboration that would shape their artistic futures. Beginning with spontaneous chalk drawings in the NYC subway system, their partnership quickly transitioned to the studio, resulting in the creation of several pivotal works, including the iconic "Repeat." Initially conceived on the walls of the 23rd Street IRT uptown station, this piece captured the spirit of the city's pulsating energy and the duo’s creative synergy.

Now re-envisioned as a unique silkscreen print, "Repeat" was released in 2020 by Gary Lichtenstein Editions, under the auspices of the Keith Haring Foundation. This print not only commemorates a pivotal moment in Orr and Haring’s careers but also celebrates the enduring bond and fierce friendship that the two artists developed early in their careers. This piece is a testament to their collaborative genius and a striking addition to any collection, symbolizing the profound impact of their partnership on contemporary art.
