Cey Adams X Janette Beckman

In 2014 Cey Adams conceived and curated the Mashup, combining Janette Beckman's portraits of influential DJs and MCs with the work of many of New York’s legendary graffiti artists. Cey selected the artists, and each artist chose a photo from Janette Beckman's archive to reinterpret in their own distinct style. In 2022 Beckman and Adams collaborated again to turn Adams' original Mashup into a limited edition silkscreen print with master printer Gary Lichtenstein.
