managed Domaine de la Romanée Conti with Aubert de Villaine. She is a passionate advocate for biodynamics and low yields, for more than 20 years. Bize-Leroy still runs family négociant business MaisonLeroy. Bize- Leroy symbolizes Burgundian terroir. The Burgundy Legend believes that ‘' Wine is inspired by the cosmos; it tastes of the earth". On the top of the Domaine, one can see a red stone. It symbolizes the longevity of the red wines made by Madame Bize-Leroy. The crown is the house emblem of the Domaine.
