Odriewgo | The Illness

On July 26th, 2011 odriewgO was in a chemical spill at his job that left him permanently light sensitive. Causing him to have to wear 2 layers of sunglasses to blackout bright lights. odriewgO illustrates his struggles with mental health while highlighting issues in the Black Community, Political Views, Dark Conspiracies, and Humorous topics surrounded by everyday life. odriewgO art is highly influenced by Graffiti and Comic Book culture. Everything created is social commentary and personal experiences. Bright colors in a negative situation. Words that carry images and sometime foreign objects are assembled from drawings and cut-up pieces of paper, balanced out by thick black outlines.
