Mila was inspired by François Raveneau wine Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos and the winemaker himself to feature the series of artworks dedicated to this classical world region. François was an adventurous and passionate man who decided to invest all his money and labor into bringing back to life Chablis vineyards after the Second World War. His children now are continuing the winemaking tradition. François died in the year 2000. This artwork is a tribute to his life and the to the region he dedicated his passion too. The seashell represents the circle of life that came to end for one but yet is never-ending. Season change speaks about tradition and regionality, while the soil highlights the sense of place.
