Pacified

Elizabeth MD Vuong (Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma) is an artist based in Chicago, IllinoisHer work explores notions of decay and mutation through pop sensibilities, realism, and geometric abstraction. Her intricately rendered flora & fauna illustrations create a push and pull between reality and dreamscape. The intertwining of realities conjures uncanny responses to the journey of contemporary storytelling.  This serves to create an aura of curiosity around the narrative of composition, thus invoking a surreal understanding of the beauty and obscurity of nature.
