This limited edition rhodium-plated cast model of Ai Weiwei’s hand was created by the internationally celebrated artist for his trailblazing NYC-based Public Art Fund exhibition Good Fences Make Good Neighbors (Oct 2017 – Feb 2018). Representing his iconic Study of Perspective series, the work expresses Ai’s commitment to individual expression while simultaneously critiquing authoritarianism.
